Our fundamental programme is designed to help children learn and improve basic PE skills.

Throughout the topic, we look at our 4 fundamental movements. The four fundamental movements are: Running, Skipping, Jumping and Hopping. 

During our session we will look at delivering one or two technical skills from the following: Underarm throw, overarm throw, bouncing a ball, kicking a ball and striking a ball. 

This is a great way to start your PE Journey with us as it allows us to assess the children and give the nursery vital information on the physical skills of your children. We would repeat this at the end of the year giving you the opportunity to see the progression of each child.
